Utopian Society-2

As I told you before I created a model that took elements from successful societies and created one model for a sustainable colony. I won't show that model because I don't have it with me. But I can summarize parts of the concept in this blog.

I guess that is good should somethings should remain off this site.

The economics, religion, privacy and property laws are based on the Hutterites.

I created a business plan from the Hutterites model of economics because they are so financially successful. However, my plan was not the same because Hutterites are always expanding. As I told you before they are very business savay and they are always creating sister colonies. I don't see the value of that.

The colony members work very hard and as I said before they live in austerity, which I am sure this is not ideal for some colony members.

The church is the centre of the community and owns all the property and everything within the colony. The church is the corporation. The only people who deal with money are the business accountants. Colony members have no use for money because everything is free.

All colony members share everything, all the property and everything they need to live. They are given homes and everything else needed for colony life. In return they support life on the colony. However that is a farmer, an art teacher, a cook an accountant and so on.

Algae is the main resource. Not also for the basic needs of the colony but also to finance it. Algae that is farmed for fuel would also cleans waist water.

Nasa has been using this system for sometime now. They clean waist water with the Omega System.

The colony would have two separate systems to farm different strands of algae. Mostly for hygene reasons. Since the algae that creates fuel is made from waist water and human excreation.

This is an older video of a project in Farende, West Indies. The remote village participated in an experiment where they grew spirulina. The system is built from simple resources. Solar panels powered by pond paddlewheels. A small pond could suppliment the diet of 100 children a day.

Growing Spirulina Algae in a Village in West Africa:

This experiment used spirulina made from human waist to feed people. The project was not continued most likely for reasons that in the western modern world no one wants to eat food made from human waist.

Spirulina can be produced from a recipe and then cultivated by a system to create an edible product for humans and animals.

I will go into a health benefits of spirulina at another time. But spirulina is one of the highest forms of proteins available in nature. It can be fed to humans and animals and when fed to fish in an aquponics garden it increases the gardens grow capacity by ten fold.

This is why the there would be three separate systems.

-algae for food-human and animal-this is the colonies only exportable product
-algae for fuel-produced only for the colonies needs
-aquaponics garden to feed the colony

When I lived in Bath I meet with a few different people from the Bath University to talk about the waist system they were experimenting with. They were the ones that told me that one system is not feasible for reasons of hygene.  This is an example of a modern algae in a waist water treatment process.

I met with the women in this video named Holly in Plymouth one day. She is a chemist who studies different strands of algae. Bath is a hot spot for algae cultivation. Algae can be found in many places. She used specimens for the Roman Baths. Holly was very generous and showed me the basic chemistry. She showed me the process in how to convert waist into fuel.
